Hi, I’m Mary-Claire.

I’m an Alabama Marriage & Family Therapist with over a decade of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in the community mental health and academic settings. My passion is to provide a place of safety to my clients, where emotions and experiences are validated and you feel seen and heard. I find counseling to be a sacred space, and feel honored that you would trust me with your places of pain.

The Process

01 — Schedule Free 20-Minute Consultation.

This is not a therapy session, but a quick “get to know you” phone call to learn your goals and needs, and how I would approach your particular concerns.

02 — Determine if I’m the best fit for you.

Meet with me for an initial intake session to discuss your background, presenting concerns, and treatment goals. The beauty of virtual sessions is that you may access care from anywhere you are in Alabama. Meet from the comfort of your home, in your pajamas, or with your pets. In-person sessions are now available in Semmes, Alabama.

03 — Meet with Mary-Claire for counseling sessions to walk through specific goals.

We will schedule weekly or bi-weekly appointments, depending on need and plan of care. Some clients prefer appointments less often as treatment goals are met and maintenance is continued.

04 — Find peace and hope for your future.

Live in the now, instead of in the past. Experience clarity and ease rather than overwhelm and panic. Have skills and practical steps to manage stressors, not break downs and frustrations.

You don’t have to live in a constant state of instability, peace is within reach.
